Seneca Resorts & Casinos Says Masks are Mandatory

Despite the previous relaxation of health and safety rules in New York State, and some casinos removing the mask rule for vaccinated visitors, Seneca Gaming Corporation is not fully committed to it yet. This week, the company informed that all of its patrons who plan on attending the upcoming live shows at its properties are required to wear a protective face mask regardless of vaccination status.

The gaming corporation has released the statement in relation to the upcoming live performance of Ron White this August. This will be the first live entertainment event at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino for more than a year, as the unprecedented situation was the reason for banning all social gatherings in the country for a while.

Masks are Mandatory

For the first time in a while, Seneca Gaming Corporation’s gaming properties will host live entertainment shows. Ron White will be the first one to perform as his show is scheduled for this Saturday, August 21, at Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino’s Events Center. John Fogerty is also signed for performance but on August 28, at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino.

Kevin Nephew who is President and CEO of the gaming corporation stated that the company is committed to protecting all of its guests and team members. He explained that since physical distancing is not possible during the live events it is of everyone’s interest to wear a face mask. Additionally, he said that the company wants to provide the safest possible environment for entertainment venues.

The company’s management, however, explains that the masking rule will be only in power only in the casinos’ Events Centers and it will not be in requirement in other areas of the properties. The rest of the premises already have determined strict health and safety rules in place for patrons and staff members of the company.

Mr. Nephew continued by saying that the corporation will continue to closely monitor the health situation with all issued protocols and policies as it has done so for the past 18 months. This way the corporation will be able to provide a safe and enjoyable setting at all of its properties. He concluded by saying that the health and safety of everyone coming to the scene is of the company’s utmost priority.

Schedule

The company revealed its live performances scheduled in July, and fans have lots of exciting events to look forward to. There will be an Aaron Lewis concert on October 15 at 8 p.m. at Seneca Allegany, and the tickets for it are already sold out. Then on October 28, the Village People will entertain crowds at Seneca Niagara. Cedric The Entertainer will also have a show at the casino.

Online Platform Rework

Other recent news from Seneca Gaming Corporation included the rework of its online gaming platform called iPlaySeneca. The company has revamped the website in order to provide an overall improved gaming experience for its many customers that can enjoy the corporation’s contents online. Additionally, there is a new welcome bonus for newly-registered users providing them with 10,000 credits and some new daily log-in rewards.
